Alaska Reece Vance Alaska Reece Vance is an actor, director and playwright. She recently graduated with her MFA degree in Acting from Regent University and has settled in Elizabethton TN where she works as the Artistic Director of “The Drifting Theatre”. Alaska she has directed over twenty plays, many in the tri cities area including, A Christmas Carol, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s Mulan Jr, Steel Magnolias and Twelfth Night which toured seven states in 2009. Favorite roles have included Rose in Dancing at Lughnasa, Elizabeth Procter in The Crucible and Miranda in The Tempest. She is currently playing Laura in North Carolina Stage Company’s production of The Glass Menagerie. As a playwright Alaska was fortunate to have several of her plays and screenplays produced at Regent University during her time there. Alaska recently partnered with Nathan Schmidt to write the musical “The Disorientation of Butterflies” which was selected for the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival and will be presented in New York City in August.

Chad Rasor originally hails from Columbus, Ohio. Chad Rasor has a Bachelor of Arts in communication and Theatre from Geneva College and Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from Regent University. He current lives in Virginia where he works as an actor, fight chorographer, voiceover artist, master carpenter, and tours with the professional improvisational comedy troupe The Dumbwaiters. His recent work includes acting and stunt coordinating the film Alone and playing the role of Tybalt in a very unconventional production of Romeo and Juliet. Chad Rasor has been trained by the Society of American Fight Directors in unarmed combat, broadsword, quarterstaff, small sword, rapier and dagger, whip, knife and found weapons. Fight and stunt choreography credits include productions of Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet and the upcoming Cyrano de Bergerac, the student academy award nominated film “Transposition”, among others. For the past four years he has done fight choreography and taught stage combat with The Drifting Theatre. He has also taught combat for the Chicago based company “UnCovered Theatre”, “Theatrix” in Virginia Beach and works as a Combat Teaching Assistant at Regent University.

Courtney Conger

Courtney Conger currently from Virginia Beach, VA is a graduate of Regent University's Master of Arts program in Theatre Studies. She is thrilled to be working with The Drifting Theatre this summer. Stage management team credits include Little Women, Oklahoma, Songs for a New World, Singin' in the Rain, The Cherry Orchard, As It Is In Heaven, and The Taming of The Shrew. She has also served as a member of the production services crew at the Santa Fe Opera in Santa Fe, NM, and will soon be serving as a Production Apprentice at the Performance Network Theatre in Ann Arbor, MI.
Courtney M. Leigh has been working in the field of technical theatre for the past four years. She has Stage Managed over ten productions since she got her start from Regent University’s Summer Theatre Camp back in summer of 2007. Courtney has studied under various professional Stage Managers and has earned technical theatre internships in West Virginia, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Tennessee. Courtney spent the year 2010 in Richmond, Virginia in a Stage Management intensive program learning the fundamentals of technical theatre. 2011 will be her third consecutive summer working with The Drifting Theatre Company’s Summer Actor Training Program.
